I filmed this one afternoon, in Albuquerque, in early 2007, in New Mexico. It was just one take, turning the camera on myself, edited it that evening with whatever footage I had gotten.....Home alone with two cats, a bottle of wine, and , well.... a song I hd written and recorded several years earlier.

Pedal Steel guitar, quirky vocals and lyrics, and electronica....hmmm, where does this fit in? This is not political.... Unless, of course, everything we do is political, or has that become "cliche"? I believe that ifwe cannot get along on the most personal front, how can we get along in the macro? Pre-emptive first strikes and World Wars begin at home.

This little ditty is simply a country song. I'm really authentically "country" having spent much of my life in the country -- like Missouri, the "show me" state.

Consider this a vacation from the Bush administration.....
